I have a demitasse cup and saucer that is heavy gold guilt. It has a makers mark on the bottom of the saucer of a gold guilt crown over the word BAVARIA and something else under Bavaria which is not readable. Trying to find out where it came from and what time frame. Germany is printed on the bottom of the cup in a circle with a number 2 in the middle.

The Bavarian Royal Crown is used on many import items by several different mfrs.!!
The word underneath is most likely Germany.!! Is the stamp on the back of the saucer under the glaze or on top of it !! From the wear on the bottom word it may be an import stamp which is usually on top of the glaze !! There would be no point in marking the country of origin if sold within the country !! You can find other sets with heavy gold paint decoration online by several mfrs !!
