1940s Philco brand antique radio, housed in a wood cabinet with a dark cherry stain. Details include carved legs, molding around the top, carved emblem in the side (fleur-de-lis) and original tapestry. The pocket doors slide open and closed to reveal the speaker and dials. The back is open so you can see all the inner workings of it. I don’t have a good photo of the back but I can get one. I listed it in fair condition because it probably has a few nicks and scratches, and because I haven’t been able to turn it on to know if it still works.

Inherited this item. My father was fond of it, owned it for a couple decades. It worked for him, but he was an electrical engineer. It has a strange plug I don’t recognize, so I haven’t been able to make it work, but I don’t know anything about antique radios. I would appreciate any information on this item. I am probably interested in selling it after I find out what it’s worth.
