I acquired a plate that hangs on a wall from an estate sell. The back of the plate says “La France Rose” It has the trademark of Kuno Steinmann. This mark was used from 1900-1932. It has gold guilded scalloped edges. there are 16 scallops that are about 1/2″ deep. The outside edges are light green and move toward the center with a lighter green. The roses are the shade of pink but it has one white rose and what looks like some violets. I have searched the internet and can not find any like it. From what I have found out there is some mystery around this artist and his business as it was before WWII and something about Hitler wanting it shut down. I’m wondering it I have something special or rare. Can you help me with this?
