I found these heart shaped “buttons” at my farm house. My husband’s grandparents made butter to sell and I’m wondering if they may be some sort of butter print. Otherwise I’m stumped. I’m confused by the word “button” Butter prints are usually wooded w/ fancy designs and called butter stamps. Is it possible what you have could be a mold? They had heart shape molds that they used to pour cheese or shape butter into them and they are metal.
