Does anyone know if Limoges used a stamp that says: ASSAM (in a circle) with the letters L S & S underneath. I found a 6″ W x 4″ D x 4″H rectangular tureen (see photo)
and I was wondering if it was made by Limoges.

Your pics did not load !! LS&S or Lewis Straus & Sons,, Factory in Carlsbad Austria and also had a decorating studio in Limoges France !! Saw several pieces listed as Assam Brown so could be a pattern name !!
