I am a student in an Antiques course. I’d love to begin collecting and selling antiques, but lack the knowledge to really understand what to look for, or what I’m looking at. I’m really hoping to find a dealer/expert to help me get a better grasp on this. Yes, I’d eventually love to profit from the ventures, but my main goal is collecting. I am finding that I really love the beautiful lines and phenomenal craftsmanship that went in to these pieces.

I haven’t really decided what I’d like to collect/ specialize in, and right now my interests are so broad that I honestly feel a good well rounded mentor is what I need. If you have the time to give a newcomer some help, I would really appreciate it.
