My lamp came from my grandmothers estate, 20 yrs ago. I think it is a beautiful lamp and would like some info on it so I can pass down the history/age ect..I can not find any markings what so ever.
It is made of glass, frosted gold on the inside, but clear on the outside( it is hard to see that unless right up close).
All the flowers are painted by hand, white Dogwood flowers with gold veins and gold leaves, and outlined in gold.
The middle of the design is all hand painted white and gold enamel.
The base is wooden, painted gold, and the four feet are possibly brass( no magnet sticks to them), all of the other parts are made of metal that is painted gold.
The wiring is old, but still works.
I have the original shade but the one on it is not it. It is made of some very fine material that has disintegrated over the years.
