I’m hoping someone can help me identify a marking on a pottery crock. The item dates back at least as far as the 1940’s. It was owned by a family member who lived in Minneapolis, MN.

The marking appears on the side of the crock. It is stamped/raised. There are no other markings on the base of the piece.

Have any of you seen this marking?????

I’ve attached a picture of the profile of the piece.
I’ve also attached a photo the the bottom. There are no markings. (Yes, I can see the cracks…) There are a couple of blobs of glaze. They look like they might be some kind of marking, but a close look shows they are nothing more than miscellaneous splotches of glaze.

That is a made in the mold mark so probably a commercial one !! Can`t tell exactly what it is !! It would help to see the whole thing as well as the bottom !! Sometimes the color of the clay can narrow down the search !!
