I have a 2 sided Mickey Mouse chalkboard in my basement that I played with growing up. It’s from the 1960s, with a picture of Mickey Mouse on one side of the green board, a clock on the other side that says “I’ll be back at”, and characters and the alphabet in between. It’s black on the other side. It’s well used, but still in reasonably good shape. I can’t find any pictures of this exact one anywhere online; there are similar ones with Scrooge McDuck on it, but not the exact one. We’re planning to move soon, and before I just get rid of it I wanted to know if it’s any kind of a collectible that someone might be interested in purchasing, and how much it might be worth. Any suggestions on where I can go to find out?
This one is on metal legs and has a wooden ledge to put the chalk and eraser on. Not sure I’d risk flipping it over anymore! Don’t remember ever doing that when I was little, either. Guess we weren’t smart enough to think of that – we just turned it around!
I’m curious about why I can’t find ANY images of the one that I have, though.
