Hello Everyone! New here. I need some advice on selling some of my Grandmothers collection she had for many years. I have things like old dolls, plates, cups, old pictures, old lamps, and much more.
I am wondering what would be the best way to sell these items? I thought about eBay and other websites, but wanted to ask here as I know I’d get good info about selling. I’d also like to know what pricing would be for these items.
Any suggestions on what I should do would be greatly appreciated! Here is a photo of some plates, and the name on the back says Lynmore Fine China Japan Romance. I have many other types of these old things that I am overwhelmed..lol
Thanks in advanced!
Tyler
Is this a dinner set or a tea set ?? As the back stamp says it was made in Japan most likely about mid century or a little later !! The florals were popular back then !! Romance is the pattern name !! You can look on Ebay and find out what people are asking for items from this company but asking price and getting price are not always the same !! I would advise you to count the pieces in this pattern and try to sell as a set on Craigslist or another local site !! Just remember to be careful who you deal with !! There are scammers on all these sites !! Never let anyone inside your house and always have people with you when they pick the item up or meet them somewhere very public !! Grocery store parking lots work well if you park close to the front door !! Not trying to scare you but it pays to be careful !! If there is something you are uncomfortable with just ask here or don`t answer the email or call !!
For smaller items you can send through the mail,,ebay is what I would use !! You can use the auction mode or Buy it now !! Just post anything here that you need help pricing !! Most things can be found using a google search or on ebay !! You can check the sold items on the ebay page to see what the actual selling price is !! Look in the left column or click the “refine list or whatever it says,, may be “refine settings”” at the top of the page then check the left column toward the bottom of the list !!
Will try to help as much as possible !!
