I’m in Los Angeles and need someone for appraisal (and possibly seller’s agent but no guarantee) of vargueno from my mother’s estate. It’s a nice one with ivory inlaid interior, 3 secret drawers and a hidden compartment. About 6 years ago we had a tentative appraisal of $30,000. That appraiser now lives in China so is not available for this.

Both could be done by most reputable auction houses !! Check with notable art galleries and museums for names !! Then do your research as to the integrity of the auction you think would be best !! Do not jump at the first one !! Check with people that have used them and see what a Google search turns up !! You can`t please all the people but you want a good percentage of satisfied customers !!
