I cannot find any info online as to the age and worth of this item. Please help! “Bryant” written on ‘switch’. “Royal” written on plug. “Edison-Patents 250 V. 50 C.P.” on brass under bulb. Any and all help is appreciated!

Ha !! No,, it will not finance your retirement but,, check the bulb and as I said,, look under the base for a foundry name !! Depending on how its advertised and that you didn`t pay too much for it,, you can still see a nice profit !!

Only the socket is an Edison patent !! The wiring is modern !! I am not a member of Worthpoint but you can use the free trial membership if you want to know what it sold for,,if it sold !! Look under the lamp base for a foundry mark to know who made the lamp !!

The socket for $25 back in 2012 – not exactly an attic treasure find I was hoping for. I wonder if the bulb is original…

Pics too big to upload – see Dropbox link. It looks like the base should be wall-hung and the bulb would be vertical.

Need to see the entire thing sitting upright !! Bits and pieces don`t help much !!
Include the plug and wiring please !!

Actually, the pictures appear just fine (how they are viewed by others depends entirely on their laptop, desktop, or cell phone settings), however, you’ve only shared 2 photos with 2 duplicates of the same photo. Do you have more available? A photo of the item in “full view” would be helpful. 🙂
