So you are trying to find that particular model ? Above is the catalogue from 1892 that shows many of their items !! Sylvan was the model name and Novelty was a product line name !! There were many items in the Novelty line !! Was there something you wanted to know about this particular model ?? They were a large stove foundry with several locations and made stoves, ranges ect by the hundreds !! Rarely will you find more information than in any of their catalogue listings !!

Yes, I’ve seen this catalog and a couple of others. You will notice in that catalog that there is no information on the Sylvan Novelty model. I’ve read the catalog, admittedly not as closely as I should have perhaps, but still haven’t found any information linking it to that specific model.
Would a company like that not advertise all their products in a catalog? Is the Sylvan a knock-off or specialty item?
I don’t often seek help on forums unless I’ve exhausted almost all of my options. I’ve tried so many different search terms that it’s driving me crazy.
