I bought an original clear 8 1/2-inch divided glass baby dish. I know that Tiara made colored reproductions of these.Embossed around the plate’s border are the phrases, “See-saw Margery-Daw” and “Where are you going — my pretty maid.” I am trying to find out who originally owned this pattern glass mold and and when it was made.
I have a question instead of information (I apologize). However, we inherited some china dishes which only have markings of “Tiara” and “Bavaria”. We understand that they were made or decorated in the Bavaria Germany Region.What we can’t seem to locate, is any information on a company possibly named “Tiara”? There are a few patterns out there named “Tiara” but none that match our set. Do you know of a company actually named “Tiara”? Any information you may have about that would be so helpful. We have looked everywhere, for years, and have never located any more information about this set, except again, that it was either made, or decorated in Bavaria. We have never seen the pattern anywhere else. If we could find out info about a company named “Tiara”, where they were located, what years they operated, we would be thrilled. This is a family set that we hope to pass on for generations, it would be awesome to at least a little more info to pass along with it : )
