Hi was wondering if someone could identify this object and what it is possibly made of, i did think it might be a japanese netsuka but am not sure due to the carved out centre circle as for material am not sure it feels cold to the touch and is heavily stained but did wonder if it might be jade or not.

Actuall size is 7cm long x 5cm wide at widest point x 1cm high and the hole is 2cm in diameter by 7mm deep

Hi size is approx 4 inches long by 1.5 inches wide.
So…the entire piece is 7cm x 5 cm (2.76″ x 1.97″) with the inner hole is 2cm round x 7mm deep (.78″ round x 0.28″ deep)?
