Hi I need some information. I recently acquired a pair of pre-Nippon urn vases. Beautiful. They are approx. 12-13 inches high, 6 1/2 in width, 3 1/2 in base, 8 in width including handles, 2 3/8 in top. Perfect condition, MIRRORED vases. I was told they are from the late Meji period. They are of a Fall scene, oak leaves. Hand painted, gilt enamel. They are marked on the bottom in Japanese, different mark on each one. I would like to know who the artist was and an approximate value. If anyone can help, I would be so grateful.

Thanks everyone!

Would need pics of the vases and the marks !! Japanese markings are not always signatures !! Can be stamp of the period or just tell where made !!
