Shown mark is not a Hummel mark at all but that of the Goebel company (which formerly produced quite a lot of things, including Hummel figures). But the Goebel mark is not a Hummel mark and vice versa …
Short: you are looking at a pure Goebel item, it has nothing to do with Hummel.
Shown mark is genuine and was – in shown form – used between 1935 and 1949. The ‘Dep’ addition implies that the item design itself is older as that comment refers to an earlier, non-centralized, registration procedure.
