I recently purchased a very nice Daher tinware platter from an estate sale. Unfortunately a previous owner had written their name on the bake with a permanent marker. Does anyone know how I can remove it?

I’ve had great luck removing permanant ink marks from metalware with a soft cloth cleaner called “Awesome Orange” (a natural based cleaning product). I spray the cleaner on the cloth and use it on dry metalware. Make sure that you follow the grain of the metal if any exists because, while I haven’t had any damage results, it will clean the piece extremely well and it could look like streaks. I follow immediately with washing (or simply wiping off the area of) the item with a soft cloth and mild dishsoap. Always test a small area before using Awesome Orange to see how the metal reacts but it did fine on my Daher piece I cleaned. Awesome orange is also amazing in getting old marks off of china without damage.
