I recently purchased a 23″ Robinson Ransbottom vase. I took it to make sure it was authentic, and to get appraised. I was told it is indeed authentic, from the 1930`s, possibly earlier. Valued between $500.- $800. I`ve researched as much as possible online and have seen a few that were the same size and shape, (which only a few on ebay priced between $600.-$800.) My questions are, is the color a rare color that was discontinued, and is it called “sky blue”? What is the correct term as to call this “floor vase”? What year span do you think this is from? and of course, what true value does this possibly hold? I really love and appreciate this piece, but may one day want to consider selling.
