I’d like to sell my White Model A (VS I) sewing machine to a collector. Where do I start? How to determine its value? Thanks!

Thank you, good to know. I haven’t seen any Model A (VS I) offered for sale, so I was wondering if these older (production until 1882) machines were worth more than a few hundred. Oh, well!

Value on these old treadle machines is minimal !! The patent dates only tell when the patents were given or renewed not when the machine was made !! Almost every household had a sewing machine and last I looked there were many on the market !!
Collectors deal mostly with the smaller hand operated models or the very unusual ones !! Scroll down on the link above and you can see what people are actually paying for these and other brand sewing machines !! You might do better,, especially with the back to nature/off grid movement,,to advertise for someone that would actually use it !! If it works well !! There some parts that are very difficult to find for the VS machines !!
