Are these Sevres marks on the porcelain and the bronze? I have two identical vases/urns that we inherited 20+yrs. ago and left in a box until now. There are identical marks under the two tops of the vases. A capital A and then underneath is S – 41. On the inside, bottoms of the two bronze pieces that fit over the vases there are names?? I can’t make out the name or possibly another maker’s mark.
*** I just took some more photos and saw that 1 vase is signed Robert. I have added this photo to the post.
I believe the vases are Sevres and not a copy as other items we received were authentic and very old as well.
Any value? We plan to sell them as they do no good inside a box.
Any help is appreciated.

Friedrich,, that age may be totally incorrect !! That is just what I could find from the mark !! I know Sevres is not in your area but was hoping you were somewhat familiar with it !! Would the metal have been cast at the factory there ?? I wasn`t aware that they had a foundry as well !!
Perhaps the person can tell what is written on the metal ?? Then I can check it against the foundries of that area !! I know others were cast by independent foundries !!
