I am interested in the value and most of all the history as I’ve researched and can not find any info on the rondel panels and very little on the landscapes other then they look similar to some pictures that Tiffany created.

4 panels with rondels and pictures, and 3 landscape panels (the large landscape was in the center, and the two narrow panels – pictured side by side – were on each side of large panel, all bought at a NYC customs auction by my grandparents in the early 1900’s? for their summer home in PA built in 1920.

At the bottom right of the 4th panel with rondels, there is a single rondel with 3 letters embossed (layered on top of each other)
with the largest letter being “M” then “H” then “B” as the smallest.

Any insight and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I am in Texas so I do not, but my other forum antique-shop.com has some members in that area !! Let me get some names for you from them !! They would know the good ones from the rip-offs !! Just be aware that an appraisal from anyone certified is going to cost !! My suggestion to ask good art galleries likely would not !! If it did it would be a minimal charge !! The roundel panels are done as an art piece !! Why someone chose to use them with a stained glass landscape is a mystery to me !! I guess their taste was a little different !!
Give me a day or so and I will ask for reputable appraisers for you !!

Thanks a bunch! Would you happen to know of any reputable appraisers in the up state NY area?

I would suggest that you have these looked at by a professional that can do a hands-on evaluation !! I could not find anything on the roundel art panels using those initials !! However if they came from a customs auction it possible they are European or from the UK !! The way the initials are done with the crown makes me think Great Britian !! The landscape looks like a Greek scene but there is no way we can tell the quality of the work with pics on a computer !! Its worth having someone taking a look at it !! Just be aware of anyone who lowballs a value !! Get at least three opinions !! Most good art galleries can probably help you !!
