This item has been bothering me for a while. I cannot find out what it might be – or used for. It is approximately 6″ long, made of a heavy steel, the ‘punch’ is pointed like a spike and is spring-loaded by depressing the plunger; the end of the devise has 2 sharp points. Not shown, but inscribed on the top of the devise, is a 6 pointed star (logo?) looking very much like the Star of David. Please help me find out what exactly it is. Thank you so much.
