I believe this is an original print circa 1817. I wish to ascertain a value on it. I have searched Google extensively by print name, artist, etc. I have found some information but the big issue is reproductions of this are being sold by several companies and those are what keep coming up in my searches. The engraving appears to be in the original frame. There is no water damage. The print appears a little faded but I believe it could be restored more closely to its original look by a professional. I do know that the British Museum has a copy of this and the reproductions generally appear to be from prints in private collections. Does anyone know how I might establish a value for this?
