I am in need of help. Maybe someone has more information about this than the antique store.

I have had this my entire life. I’m not sure how it came into my posession. It is a Tiffany & Co egg shaped case, with the comedy/tragedy faces on either side. The inside is 18k Italian gold. So, the tag reads 18K Italy Tiffany & Co.

I am unsure what it was used for, or what it is worth. And I am trying to get as much info as I can about this. If you can help me, it would be most appreciated!
