I set up an Excel spreadsheet with column headings to show all the info I have in the columns below. I save pictures of my items and create a hyperlink to them in one of the cells beside the item. I include info like category, mark/signature/name, description of item, purchase price and year, price item is worth and date price was found. The pictures I keep are in Word and I create a hyperlink to that file. On the Word file, I also put links to the internet page where I found data and information about the object.
