I recently purchased two leaf-shaped dishes that have a silvery, pearl-like finish. I think they might be melamine or melmac(sp?). The manufacturer’s mark on the back says Tru-Tone and underneath M A J. I can’t seem to find any info about these. Any help? Thank you!

Okay…some research indicates these may, in fact be aluminum. I believe the weight of them feels heavier than that. Going on listings for similar items on Ebay. Still would love to hear if anyone knows anything about this company or the M A J? Just curious, by nature and this is driving me crazy that when I search Tru-Tone, I get either info on Princess China, Aluminum anodizing or hearing aids. HELP!
