Original Paddy & the Pig Mechanical Bank manufactured by the J.& E. Stevens Company of Cromwell, Conn.
It has a good deal of its original paint which has not been touched up or altered in any way. When you press down the lever in back, the Irishman’s tongue sticks out and his eyes roll back. The pig’s foot is supposed to kick the coin into the mouth, but I can not get this part to work.
The bottom is in very nice shape with visible “ENG PAT JULY 28 1882 US PAT AUG 8 1882” engraved on plate. The small round coin opening cover in bottom is missing. I can not see any chips or damage.
Would appreciate any advice on what I could get for this. ALSO, do any people still do repairs on these? (If I could get pig’s foot to kick, wow!)
Thank you for helping a novice…

Just some additional info !! Don`t do anything to it if you want top dollar !! It is pretty common for the leg to not work or to be broken !!

This one sold last year !! Yours would be slightly less with the missing cover+slight paint loss and none working leg !! However you never know at an auction. !!
