Sorry, I think I posted this question in the wrong area previously.
After extensively searching online, I can’t find any other Goebel Sacrart Angels even close to mine. I have no clue what price to list them at. They are about 8-1/4″ tall, have SACRART labels and are marked HX 277/B, Western Germany, by W. Goebel, (c) 1957. Any help would be greatly appreciated! yes!! That’s it! I’ve been looking on e-bay often on and never saw it. Thank You! Surely there’s got to be a lot of collectors out there that might have a big book on Goebels. I have a book but nothing like your’s in it. And I looked in all my Kovel’s books too. Did you want to sell it? With xmas coming now might be the time to post it on some site. You can alway’s maybe put a reserve on it, I’m not sure. I don’t sell on internet only do Flea Markets, I get more money and less hassle.
Carolyn – you’re a sweetheart! I just did a quick check on that site you recommended, putting “angel” after Goebel, and got only 1 page – and of course none of them were like mine! haha
Hey, I might have found your momma and baby deer – could this be the same as yours?

i’m beginning to think you have the only two ever sold also!!!! I just got off a site that has 115 pages of Goebels, 100 per page. I made it to page 25. The site is Antiques Navigator.com They also have Free Appraisals now. I have a Goebel figurine also I can’t find. It’s a momma deer w/baby laying down. Too bad you don’t have the hump back camels, they are selling between $200-300.00. Sacrart is short for Sacred Heart it’s part of a series of religeous items including the nativity set. I’ll keep looking, it might take awhile.
Thanks, Carolyn. I agree, I’ve seen the prices drop. The thing is, I can’t even find a starting point of what these might have been worth “once upon a time” since I can’t find anything like them anywhere!! I’d love to have some point of reference of what they originally sold for, or even resold for in past years. It seems as though I’ve got the only two ever made! haha Thanks for your response!
It is very hard to give a value anymore for Goebel or Hummel. The sad fact is the market has become loaded with these precious items and the values have dramatically dropped. I was at an auction 9 day’s ago and about 15 of them sold for $5.00 ea. You can even see that on e-bay. Only a certain few will sell for what they are worth.
