I found this at an estate sale. I’ve never seen a piece like this, but it is marked Vernonware Homespun-California USA. It could be a soup tureen and underplate. I think the pattern is Tam o’shanter or Gingham.
Question? What is it and what is the value?
Thanks for your help.

Your giant cup and plate was made in Vernon, Ca. just SW of Los Angelos between 1928-48. They made large soup cups with an underplate. As far as value it’s not worth that much in today’s market. Older peices from dinnerware does not have much of a market today. Whatever you paid for it at an estate sale is what it’s worth.
