I bought this pair recently from our local thrift shop. I am not really into collecting clowns, but these two stood out.

I would really like some input as to how old they are (they look really old), are they folk art? primitive??and assign a value to them.

I have not been able to find any information on them. We were told by an antique shop owner that they were a great find.
