Stoke on Trent was an area in the UK known for its pottery !! Try going to thepotteries.org for the name !! The way your Mother used it is how it would have been used when made !!

It stands about 33 inches – 2 pieces. No that’s not a liner – it was a plastic container my mom had a plant in – I’ve taken it out now.
The stamp on bottom says Stone on Trent – Staffordshire with a trademark stamp –
a C in a star with the word Bros. I’m going to see if that is a brand listed here.

Appears to be an antique Jardiniere !! You didn`t give the size ?? Is that the original liner ?? Can you also take a pic of the bottom of it !!
