Can anyone tell me what this turned wooden object might be? Its likely to be British in origin, the round platforms move indside the object and are spring loaded perhaps to imprint a pattern on something. Maybe it is a letter sealer of some sort ? perhaps some kind of industrial item although its fine finish suggests it is more likely a household item.
