Generally the portables are more collectible than the consoles for obvious reasons, That being said they can still be valuable. Value is greatly determined by make and model, some being rarer than others. Here is a good resource.

I have a console Victrola that i love, but it isn’t that valuable. Sometimes the parts have more value that the entire cabinet as a whole.
