I HAVE A WILSON NFL FOOTBALL, YOUTH SIZE, STILL IN BOX, AUTOGRAPHED BY TERRY BRADSHAW (PITTSBURG STEELERS) AND HOWIE LONG (OAKLAND RAIDERS). IT WAS AUTOGRAPHED WHILE THE TWO WERE OVER HERE IN GERMANY ON A EUROPEAN TOUR.
I WOUD LIKE TO KNOW IF ANYONE CAN PROVIDE ME WITH A PRICE FOR THIS ITEM. I WOULD LIKE TO PUT IN ON E-BAY OR ANOTHER ACTION SITE. IF ANYONE CAN GIVE ME AN IDEA I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT.

You have 2 great NFL players autographs on this football. What is the value? Its worth depends on lots of factors but provenence is important. Authenticity is the always an issue. Do you have a picture of them signing the ball, any documentation i.e. program providing information about their visit and/or signing autographs? When you look on line to get a sense of the autographs’ values, you will find alot of discrepancy. One big factor is what is the autograph on; a card, a football, a helmet and/ or a jersey. I believe the ball could go for anywhere between $35.00 – $125.00. For me, the bottom line that determines what I will sell a collectible item is based on what do I have invested in the item? Obviously, any dealer looking to buy your autographed football would offer you 10 -20% its value to allow room for a profit on resale. So what’s it worth? Just like anything else it is worth what you can get for it.
To really get the true value, offer to trade it for something that you find valuable as a collectible. For me, trading allows for the best deal because I can get rid of something that I don’t want for something that I do want…. A win, win situation!
