I am new to this site, and am not sure how a forum works, but here goes.

I have recently aquired an old nautical life preserver. It is 30 inches across, orange in color, and has the words:

BRITISH

PASSAGE

printed on the top/bottom.

I am trying to find out some info on it, especially what exactly does “British Passage” mean, and how can I find out the age/value. Any suggestions are welcomed. Thank you. Donna
