Hi,

I have an old book it is a Longfellow’s Poems Book and it is a light brown soft leather bound book. On the front of the book is detailed a girl with pigtails and has a floral design and reads Longfellow’s Poems.

On the inside of the book on the second page in has a picture of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, and on the page next to it reads “The Poetical Works of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow” That is written in black….Around the wordage in red is a design and at the bottom in red reads “Hurst & Co. New York.

On the next turned page reads “Poems by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow New York Hurst and Company Publishers.

This book has 780 pages, the contents only show to page 432.

There is no date anywhere in this book and there are no Edition dates either, it doesn’t read anything about any edition.

Is it possible that this is a first edition book?

I have had this book for years and always wondered about its value and if there is anyone out there that would by it

I will attach a couple of images so you can see the book.
