This china belonged to by beloved mother-in-law. During discussions at family gatherings, there was a mystery regarding the origins of the mark on this set.

In the picture, you will find the mark in question.

Rumor within the family was that this peculiar mark was related to the the German occupation of Czhechovlovakia (1938–1945)and was purchased ~1939 by my husband’s grandmother.

Although I know that many people post here asking for assistance with identifying their watermarks without saying thank you, I wanted to say I would appreciate any help I can get.
