I have in my collection a beautiful pottery Pigeon (not the 388 figure) that is unmarked but the base, glaze and quality of the piece makes me think that perhaps it is a piece of Abingdon pottery. It is perched on a base and the pigeon measures 6 1/4″ tall. The base measures approximately 2 3/4″ (side to side) X 3 1/8″ front to back. The pigeon measures almost 4 1/2″ from tail to chest. The glaze could be the Delft or Dusty Blue.
Any information you may have on this piece as to when it was made and even a value if possible would be greatly appreciated, but I am actually most interested in identifying the piece.
