I found some antique plates at a Goodwill in Kentucky a couple of years ago. I was wondering if they’re a collectors item and what this particular one’s approximate worth is if I do decide to sell. I’m having difficulty downloading photos so this is all I know about the plate right now. The face of the plate is a garden scene with a man serenading a woman, or so it seems.A mark on the backside says BOOTHS with a red crown and SILICON CHINA ENGLAND Also written on the back is as follows; XMAS 1911 WITH COMPLIMENTS from JAMES NORRIS Ltd. BURSLEM. Thank you for any estimates and information. Trying to upload some photos now…

James Norris Ltd, of Burslem was a wine and spirit merchant early 1900`s !! These were gifts he gave his customers as an advertising promotion !! 1911 was the year he gave these plates,, over the years there were other patterns with the same or similar written on the back !!
You can look on ebay for these promotional plate to see what they are selling for !! Check sold prices not start or asking prices !!
Your mark was used after 1906 !!
