I’ve had this porcelain figurine about 10 years I’m not sure if it’s Staffordshire or German,please help id.

My guess would be German or that area !! I have never seen this form before but I have a vague memory of some with a similar wear pattern on the back !! Give me a day or two and I will try to get an answer for you !!
Is this figure very heavy compared to others ??

Can’t say if it is from Staffordshire but it is obviously ceramic with a badly fused glaze and represents a cricket player, so I would think it’s from the UK or somewhere where that sport was/is common (India, Australia, etc.). Bat and wicket are hard to recognize at first, but I’m pretty sure.

Thanks Friedrich !! I would not have guessed Staffordshire but then,, I do not know about cricket or what is worn,carried or anything else !!
