Wedgewood Columbia Sage Green & Gold Cream Soup Saucer
I have just discovered that one of my cream soup saucers has the black Wedgwood vase loga and the gold text below it printed backwards! (It appears right side around when viewed through a mirror). I have never seen this on any china anywhere before.
This phenomenon is called “an error” when it is discovered on a postal stamp, and stamp errors are a whole collectible sector in the stamp world. Errors are more valuable than normal stamps, and some errors are extremely valuable.
Does anyone know if “errors” on the underside printing on bone china has a simiilar colletors’ community and added value?
