I received a 52 piece set of fine porcelain with a makers mark that reads “Bavarian Crest Fine Porcelain, Bavaria”. After extensive research, I cannot locate this makers mark on any Bavarian Crest fine porcelain. I am assuming it is fake, but am looking for any additional information that anyone may be able to provide.

It is not a fake, but then it’s not a German mark anyway. The BAVARIAN CREST trademark was owned and registered by LIFETIME IMPORTS INC. in SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. Next to shown mark, the US reg office entry states:
