Have you found ebay to be the best place to try to sell mid century pottery dishes? Any other options? Thank you.

Ebay is always a crap shoot !! Its like rolling dice to see if anything will sell !! But it does have more traffic than any of the online sites !! Sets rarely sell on ebay because if the shipping charges !! And you usually find that people are only looking for one ot two specific pieces to complete what they already have !! Art pottery is a little better but still slow !! Go to the category you will be listing in and check to see what is moving (sold prices or those with bids) !! Craigslist is widely read and you would have no expense to sell !! If you live in a smaller town then go to the next large town within driving distance !! Your listing will still show in the smaller areas !! Good description and pics will help your sale !!
Good luck !!

Thank you for your thorough response! I got a quote from the “best known online company that buys and sells replacement pieces and sets of china”. It would be quick and dirty to sell to them all at once, but I know it wouldn’t bring in the most amount of money. Plus, there’s the cost of shipping the entire service for eight to them. You’re right: posting on my local CL would be worth a try and free, with no shipping charges either. I like your “waiting to post on eBay”. Thanks so much.

How many pieces and what patterns and mfrs !! Most everything has been down lately on ebay !! Right now and with Christmas around the corner I would only try to sell the lowest price items !! As Christmas gets closer then people start to shop !! Or at least that has been my past experience !! Try to start listing better items early December !! Or you can open your own store on some of the free sites like ecrater !! But then you have to build your own traffic !! You can also try your local Craigslist !!
