Hi, I have an Abino plate/charger. Measures slightly over 12″ across. Scene is just sailboats on water. No land or any thing else. Signed by W. Foster and is dated 1912. Very good condition with no chips, cracks, discolorations. It does have utensil cut marks. Looks like it had been used as a plate. Would appreciate any information including value. Thanks you

Buffalo pottery in NY was in business from 1901-1986. From 1901 to 1930, customers name was imprinted unto back of plate. So i’m sure Abino was the customers name or company. My book shows the mark_ Abino Ware, Buffalo Pottery 1912. The 1912 is the year your plate was made. I think your pattern name might be Boston Ships. I need to know the colors of your plate before I can make a value and these early ware have a high value if in good condition, Probably too high in this day and age. Info from Lois Lehner P&P
