ther’s a manual by Hooper and Phillips that shows a trident mark belonging to Caughley co in SHropshire in the 1700s but this piece seems more modern. thanks

thanks Martha, I figured out swansea from another site that shows the actual trident with the prongs facing like that. It was at an estate sale and I let it go. How does one evaluate the value of something like that? Do you have to know the artists who painted it and such? or is it enough to cmopare it to comparable items from the same manufacturer? thanks for your efforts!
