This was given to my sister several years ago. Does anyone have any idea what it is and whether the mark is legitimate or not?
I search the web and found the manufacturer in China, but could not find any item that looks like this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and also if there is any value to the item.

Thanks for the suggestions. I had not searched for potpourri or garlic. The pot is large so perhaps you are right…thanks again! I shall search some more and post here if I find anything.

It could be for incense, garlic, ginger or potpourri pot. I think it is rather old and it looks like a snake looped around the pot. I would list it as a potpourri pot because you would get more viewer’s looking at it. As far as value would depend on who collect’s older chinese pot’s, The sticker could have been added later or by an antique dealer for his inventory.

Here is a close-up of the torn sticker on the bottom. We are thinking it might have been an inventory number or something. Could it have been merely a decorative item sold by volume? It is pretty, but my sister has no place for it and wants to list it on Ebay, but we have no idea what it is. I have search just about everywhere I can think of…thanks for any help.
