I have a pair of candle holders that I’m trying to get information on. I purchased these at an estate sale. They are about 8″ in height, white porcelain with blue floral base and gold trim on the base and running up the sides. The bottom has a couple of stamps, one is appears to be a number I can’t read and the other appears to start with “LOC…” It has a blue stamp reading Made In Germany and also has the initials K.B. painted in black. Any ideas as to the age and possible worth?

I checked the LOC, LUG and other combinations and found nothing !! Only two Mfrs name started with an L and it didn`t match either !! So I think that the letters are part of the style number !! The KB initials are those of the decorator !! Most of these are produced in bulk and decorated by employees who are paid according to how many they paint/decorate !! It is common to see initials on many items !! If they didn`t mark them in some way they did not get paid for them !! The Made in Germany stamp indicates that they were intended for export !! By the style I would say they were made mid century or after !! They are very pretty and I am sure will look good on your table !!
