Help! I recently found a 6.5″ cat figurine with what appears to be a Capodimonte mark, but I cannot find anything like him on the net. What I am needing to know:
1. Did the Capodimonte mark come in BLACK? My cat has a black N with a 5 point crown on it that has a line under the points to serve as the crown’s base.
2. This figurine is in color – he is tan with black on his feet, face, tip of his tail and ears. He also has pink eyes. I’ve seen a white one with gold embelishment, but does this description ring a bell? It has the appearance of a Capodimonte figurine-with matte finish and lanky figure.
3. If its a Capodimonte any idea on its age or worth?
The cat has a kind of “bug-eyed” look and is quite comical – I love him! So any help on more info is appreciated.
