I found a large figurine lamp, and am trying to figure out if it’s worth anything. I’ve attached a photo of the mark that appears on the inside of the base–from the research I’ve done, I doubt that it’s an original Capo-di-monte, but perhaps it is still valuable? From the entry in the Kovels’ book, I thought it could be from the Doccia factory of Italy or Societa Ceramica Richard (they are both using the N and crown now). But maybe it’s just a knock-off 😛

Thoughts? If anyone is interested, I also have photos of the lamp itself…

I live in New York City, and assuming it’s not a clear knock-off, I would appreciate any recommendations of places where I could get it appraised.

I have a lovely, large tureen with lid and handles marked Capo-Di-Monte that belonged to my mother. The mark on the bottom is curious. Perhaps this is a reproduction? I would like an opinion as to its worth as I would like to sell it. I am attempting to attach 2 photos. [img] [img]
